What this is
Narrative Nexus ("the Platform") is a reading and writing service for romance novels and short stories, operated by Quantoxt Inc. These terms govern your use of the website, the installable app, the coins shop and the author dashboard. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to them.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Categories labelled 18+ (including Erotica) are strictly for adults — by accessing them you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform with a parent or guardian's permission.
Accounts and roles
Accounts are created with an email address through our authentication provider. One person: one account. Accounts carry a role — reader, author or admin — which unlocks different areas such as the library, the author dashboard or moderation tools. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything done under your account.
Reading, coins and payments
Many chapters are free. Premium chapters are unlocked with reader coins purchased in the coins shop. Payments are processed securely by Paystack; we never see or store your card details. Coin packages, prices and exchange behaviour are shown at checkout before you pay. Coins are tied to your account, are non-transferable, and are generally non-refundable — except where a payment fails, is duplicated, or coins are not delivered, in which case contact support for a review and recovery.
Author content and review
Authors submit books and chapters as drafts. Submissions go through review and may be published, kept pending, or rejected with feedback. You keep ownership of your stories. By publishing on the Platform you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, distribute and promote your work on Narrative Nexus for as long as it remains published, so readers can discover and read it. Removing a book stops future distribution but does not affect copies already delivered to readers.
Contracts and payouts
Eligible authors may apply for contracts on their books. Contracted books earn according to the contract terms shown at application. Payouts are sent to the bank details on your profile; you are responsible for keeping those details accurate. Payout history is available in your dashboard, and we may withhold or reverse earnings linked to fraud, manipulation or policy violations.
What you must not do
Do not upload content you do not own or have rights to; plagiarised or infringing work will be removed. No hate speech, non-consensual or illegal sexual content, sexual content involving minors, spam, malware, scraping, automated harvesting, or attempts to manipulate likes, saves, reviews or payouts. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach this section.
Reviews and community
Ratings, reviews, bookmarks and follows are public signals other readers rely on. Post honest reviews about the work, not the person. We may moderate or remove abusive, misleading or off-topic contributions.
Termination
You may stop using the Platform and delete your data via your settings at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach, fraud, or legal necessity. On termination, access to premium content and dashboards ends; published author content may be withdrawn from distribution.
Disclaimers and limits
The Platform is provided "as is". Stories are the opinions and creations of their authors, not ours. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits rights you hold under applicable consumer law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the Platform evolves; material changes will be flagged on the site and the "last updated" date revised. Continued use after changes take effect means acceptance. Questions: use the report page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
